A Hero's Farewell

To assist Kate’s family during this time, we are hoping to raise funds for the immense logistical task of putting Kate to rest with her Mum.
Kate was a passionate musician and songwriter. Making it onto the 2009 season of Australian Idol and placing 6th with her heartfelt song, Make You Stay, written about her Mum’s death in 2000.
Kate became very popular amongst judges, contestants and viewers alike for her genuineness, honesty and playful take on life.
As Beccy Cole recently posted "You went on national TV and said 'this is me...' you made the world safe for SO many others, if only you understood what a hero you were..."
Kate was truly one of a kind. She was a fiercely loyal friend, proficient prankster, a "give you the shirt off her back" type of Aussie. Her energy was magnetic and everyone she met became her family.
Losing Kate is an incomprehensible loss, not only to her family but to her many friends and supporters.
So please help us give Cookie the funeral she deserves and lay her to rest with her Mum where she will finally be at peace ...
