Hurricane Victim Home Restoration

Kate and Fred Miller are my parents-in-law. Last year their home was flooded by hurricane Matthew. They had over 4 feet of standing water in their home. They lost all of their furniture, a large quantity of clothing, and a number of irriplacable keepsakes, such as photographs, yearbooks, letters, art, and sadly more. They were displaced for 6 months, living out of hotels and RVs.

They put a lot of money, time, and so much hard work into restoring it and making it livable again, from redoing drywall, replacing appliances and windows, putting on a new roof, gutting the bathroom and kitchen (the list goes on). Their home has now been flooded a second time, less than a year later by hurricane Irma. They will be displaced and have to restore some of the same things all over again.
