Kate Andrusenko restart her archery career.

Hi, my name is Simon, and I am fundraising for Kate, a young Ukrainian refugee who has recently moved to South Wales from her home in Chernivtsi, Ukraine.

Kate is 19 and has come here alone to the safety of Wales. At home, she was studying Hospitality Management at The Chernivtsi Trade and Economics Institute. She hopes to finish this course online if she can.

Kate's great passion is archery, a sport she uses for mental and physical health. She is already accomplished, winning national competitions at home and was trained by the Ukrainian National Coach, Oleg Osypenko.

Kate's displacement from her home meant she had to leave all but the essentials behind her. She is settling into Welsh life but misses the discipline of training and being involved in competition.

We aim to be able to provide equipment to replace the bow, arrows and other equipment that she was forced to leave behind when she fled her country. Fully being able to re-engage with her sport will help her regain a sense of normality and happiness.

All the funds raised will be passed to Kate so she can purchase the equipment she needs.
