Karsen's fight

My cousin, Mandie Boone & her husband, Jared got the surprise of their life when their sweet daughter, Karsen Riley Boone came into this world 5 weeks early. 4 pounds 2 ounces and 17 3/4 inches of pure sweetness! She had to have surgery on a portion of her bowel that didn't develop correctly when she was just a few days old. Karsen was in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for 3 weeks. She was doing fantastic, was thriving, and was able to go home with her mommy, daddy and big brother Rider! Just a few nights ago Karsen started having trouble at home and was flown back to Wichita where she is now fighting the fight of her life with a severe bowel infection. She has again undergone surgery to have portions of her small intestine removed and could possibly need a small bowel transplant. Karsen will receive her nutrition for the next couple of years intravenously. This sweet baby is fighting for her life, hours away from home, at the closest hospital that can give her the care she needs. I would love for my cousins to get as much help as possible, with all of the medical expenses, traveling, and not being able to work, so they can stay by their baby girls side as long as they need to! Please help if you can! Any little bit will go a long way! Thanks everyone!
