Hi,

Our dog Karma has suffered from seizures and head tremors for a number of years, but according to previous vet visits, there was nothing seriously wrong with our American Stafford girl. But now, the day after her eighth birthday, even her balance and physical strength are completely out of whack. Fortunately, she recovered a little and can walk a bit at the moment. She’s been thoroughly examined by the vet and it is clear that there is something wrong with her brain or nervous system. A tumor is not ruled out and she may already be in pain. And this could not come at a worse moment, with all the circumstances. An MRI scan and complete blood work are absolutely necessary. What can be done about her condition after this is still unclear, but she may need surgery, or hopefully, there is treatment possible, probably with medication.

Why am I asking for your help?

We came back from Spain 2 years ago with our family and pets, where we lived and worked for 10 years. Due to Corona and its consequences on tourism, we lost my well-run shop there and our savings have run out. We arrived in the Netherlands with a few suitcases, penniless and counting on good luck, where a new start and finding a home were extremely difficult. We have our lives back on track in the meantime, but these are difficult times, for everyone of course and we understand that. But if can you miss something, even if it's 1 euro. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help with Karma. Every contribution makes a huge difference for us and may help us save Karma from suffering. It is not yet time to euthanize her, she is still way too happy and we as a family are definitely not ready for that yet either. We thank you, as a family, from the bottom of our hearts...
