My name is Francesca, and I have opened this fundraiser to help Karim and his family.

I am Karim. I live in the Gaza Strip with my father and my two little brothers. My mother is in Egypt, where she went to receive medical treatment because she is very sick. My brothers are still very young and have no one else to take care of them. My father is also very ill and unable to work.

All the responsibility for my family is on me. We have no food, no clean water, and nothing to rely on. There is no work and no way to earn a living. All I wish for is a chance to live a safe and decent life for me and my family.
