Karie Huzzey's Cancer Fight

For those of us who know Karie, know that she is one of the kindest, sweetest people we’ll ever have the privilege of being associated with.  Karie, who is so good at thinking of others, now needs our help. 

A few months back, Karie noticed an unusual small bump on her neck.  Several frustrating doctor visits, tests, and biopsies didn’t deliver any concrete results.  It wasn’t until the fourth or fifth doctor’s visit that Karie was finally able to get some news.  Unfortunately it wasn’t good news, but at least it was information.

Karie has been diagnosed with aggressive Stage 2 Radial Sclerosing Hodgkins Lymphoma.  This new journey, which no one ever wants to go on, has been emotionally and physically draining for Karie and her family.  Karie and her husband Troy are the parents and grandparents of a beautiful family.  As a matter of fact, they just welcomed a new grandchild and in about 1 month, Karie and Troy will send a daughter, Baylee, to do missionary work in the Florida Fort Lauderdale area.

Karie and Troy have always been pretty tough and Karie is a fighter, but now they need our help.  Anyone who has been through this knows that all of these doctor visits, missed work, and travel can be a tough financial and personal burden to carry. Karie needs to be able to focus on her recovery through the chemo and radiation treatments without the burden and worry of medical bills.  This is where we can help.
