Karen Virginia HadleyDike, (1951-2018) lived a life of devoted to service.
In August of 2018 Karen and Jerome joined an American Baptist mission team working with refugees in Sarajevo. She was taken ill with acute pancreatitis. After a week of declining in a Bosnian hospital, Jerome was able to get her airlifted to Paris. Karen had an insurance policy covering medical evacuation. Unfortunately she was not stable enough to be evacuated all the way to the U.S.A. where medical insurance would cover her.
We are seeking any donations to help defer the cost of the 3 weeks Karen spent in the ICU
Karen had long dreamed of working internationally in the missions field in retirement. She died doing what she loved.
