Ryder says, please help save my mommy!

It's time! For those that may or may not be aware, Karen needs a liver.  Karen was diagnosed in October 2017 with a very aggressive genetic autoimmune liver disease. Sadly, her older brother, Steven Jennings, died of the same genetic disease just a few months ago. His doctors were not able to properly diagnosis Steven's condition until Karen's diagnosis.  Karen’s condition has  advanced very quickly and she is now #1 on the UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing) transplant list.  Which is great news but it means she is very ill and desperately needs a liver. 

Who is Karen? Karen is a young, vibrant and strong woman who loves life just as much as she loves her border collie, Ryder. Karen is determined to survive this disease and is fighting with everything in her but she needs help. Karen is facing this disease alone and has spent most of her life’s savings to survive to this point and will need financial support to help pay for the non covered costs related to her care she so desperately needs. Being placed at the top of the list means Karen’s condition has advanced and she has only a bit of time left to win this battle. The cost of a liver transplant is in ½ million dollar range and that is more than almost anyone can afford without help. Karen will be faced with daunting expenses while she recovers. Please give and don’t let this disease take two family members within a few months of each other. Karen has a lot of life to live and wonderful things to give the world.
