Kara Lemieux is my job-share as a special education teacher (RSP) at Miwok Valley Language Academy in the Old Adobe Union School District. She is one of the most hard-working, caring, thoughtful, and generous people I know.
At 2:30 am, as Kara was fleeing her home in the Coffee Park area, she was texting me to make sure my family and I were safe.
Kara Lemieux, her husband, Jason Kracht, and three year old daughter, Alexis, are victims to the Tubbs Fire. The fire storm took their house near Coffee Park and all of their belongings. Besides the clothes on their back, a few items for their daughter, and their computers with their cherished pictures, they had nothing.
Recently, to add insult to injury, while at the benefit concert in San Francisco on Thursday night, they had their car broken into. Their computers were stolen along with their precious photos.
Although nothing can bring back their photos and cherished memories, please help how you can.
