Your assistance is needed to support our 7th Annual Woodbridge Kappa Community 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Guide Right and Community Action programs of the Woodbridge Alumni Chapter (WAC) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in Prince William County.
The event is on September 28, 2019 at 8:00am at Burke Lake Park, 7315 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039.

GUIDE RIGHT
The GUIDE Right program is a platform that builds character, academic integrity, unity, and leadership.
MISSION: To empower young men to recognize they are in control of their destiny in life. Afford young men the opportunity to explore personal career interest; and not subject themselves to stereotypes.
OUTCOMES:
- Learn the importance of Integrity in personal and
academic setting; and consequences of their actions
- Improve school attendance, emotional wellbeing,
social behavior, academic achievement
- Build self-esteem; improve communications, and
cultural diversity
- Workforce development: resume writing, interviewing
techniques, job search skills, career assessment, and
employee responsibilities
- Education & Occupations: Career & job skills
assessment, college tours, scholarships, grants, and
trade
- Budgeting & Living within my means

COMMUNITY ACTION
The vision of the WAC Community Action committee is to always stay informed and proactively communicate and educate WAC members of upcoming community events, and civic activities, while working to increase awareness and participation in these events as well as the political process (i.e. voter registration, precinct workers, etc.).
