Kappa Chapter Fundraising Account

The Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. is the longest standing black organization on Syracuse University. Kappa Chapter was awarded the 2015 2nd undergraduate Chapter of the year. Within the past few years we have been the three time 2nd District Scholarship Chapter of the year award recipient, 2016, 2017 and 2018. At the 2018 2nd District conference, Kappa Chapter took home 25% of the purple blazers awarded for the Purple Badge Initiative. The Purple Badge Initiative is something new the 2nd district did last year in which chapters that were active in their community through service and programs, attended all district meetings, and Brothers who had a 3.4 GPA or above were given purple blazers to reward their success and accomplishments. We have been featured in the 2018 Winter/Spring edition of the Oracle for outstanding social action. Kappa Chapter is looking to raise money in order to pay for our yearly chapter expenses. With this fundraising, we are able to remain prevalent on Syracuse University’s campus as well as the Greater Syracuse community at large. The expenses we are looking to pay for include: P.O. Box, College Endowment Fund, Chapter Insurance, transportation and registration. As well as lodging for corridor training and meetings, District summits , Conferences, International Grand Conclaves and Leadership Conferences . Along with other chapter operations that will allow us to remain active.  Any donations will help. Thank you.
