Kanturk RFCs The Longest Try Relay

Kanturk Rugby Clubs Longest Try Relay in association with Mercy House Support Group & Kanturk Community Hospital will take place on Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd August 2020.
Participants will walk or run the distance from Kanturk Rugby Football Club to the Aviva Stadium by doing a total of 759 laps of the pitch. The total distance is 253 km. Participants will be given an allocated time & a rugby ball will represent the baton. Each participant will carry the rugby ball as they walk or run during their allocated time.
The funds from this relay will be divided between Kanturk Rugby Club and two fantastic local organisations:
Mercy House Support Group
Kanturk Community Hospital

When we have achieved traveling the full distance and crossed the finish line on August 22nd. Please join us from 4pm in the Rugby Club for the launch of our newly developed grounds. Our Bar will be open (subject to Covid 19 Guidelines)!!
