Kansas To New Mexico - Matti Summer Track

My name is Matti Price. I am currently a Junior at Riverton Highschool. I was the 2018 State Runner-Up in the 400m dash and placed 6th overall in the 200m dash. I am currently sitting in 2nd in the state of Kansas in all divisions. I have been asked to represent the state of Kansas in the 44th annual Great Southwest Track and Field Classic. This will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 7-8. I will be competing in the 400m dash and 4x400m relay with 3 other in-season competitors from Kansas. I have a tremendous opportunity to represent our state against other state from the southwest. 

This is a great honor for myself and recognition for all the hard word I have done this year, as well as a chance to represent the state of Kansas at a national level. This will also be a great recruiting opportunity for myself, as there will be collegiate level coaches from all over the United States. However, this is a tremendous cost for my parents, I will have to pay for my way there. I would like to be able to help raise the money to offset the cost for them.
Money will go for the following: 

registration cost: $90
Athlete hotel room: $450
Family hotel room: $450
Gas for travel: $350
Food/meals: $500 

I currently hold the school records for the 100m, 200m and the 400m dash. I re-broke both the 100m and 200m records just last week at the 3a Region 14 Regional Meet. 

My standing times for each events:
100m - 12.44
200m - 25.69
400m - 57.82 

I hope to make my school and community proud at my state meet this weekend in Wichita, KS and then onto New Mexico to represent the State Of Kansas.
