The small community of Kangaroo Island has been devastated by the recent fires that have destroyed people's hopes, dreams and livelihood. Over 150,000 hectares have been burnt. The fire did not discriminate, with the destruction of luxury accommodation, people's homes, farming land and livestock, all destroyed in its path. Not to mention the thousands of wildlife that has been dessimated or injured within its path. This fire is still out of control.
