Kandy's Fight Against Lung Cancer

Kandy has been faced with the most difficult times lately, after losing her mom just 1 year ago; she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.
Kandy has been doing treatments since November of 2017, in an effort to fight and ward off the cancerous tumors that are attacking her body. She has suffered through Radiation burns, losing weight, her hair, and the will to keep going some days as she fights to keep strength.
Kandy has been through Chemotherapy and Radiation since first finding out of the cancerous tumors. Radiation shrunk the tumors considerably and Chemotherapy did not work at all to help fight the cancer.
As we walk into this next step of treatments, Immunotherapy is one of the last options we have to combat this deadly disease. She had her first treatment the middle of March, which she has been put on the drug known as Opdiva. This type of therapy works to have her immune system try to fight the cancerous cells, instead of killing all the cells that split like chemo does.
Kandy has good and bad days of course; and every day she tries to keep positive, so she can focus on her business along side her wonderful husband Adam.
Kandy and Adam are title abstractors, and this job requires them to travel to several counties in southwest Missouri. These two work very hard to keep this company afloat, but when Adam is the only one who can travel as car rides are too much for Kandy some days, it becomes hard to keep up with the work and all the bills that are piling up from the treatments and office appointments.
We are in process of getting Kandy into a cancer treatment center up in Kansas City Kansas called UMKC Cancer Center. For her to be able to follow up with this opportunity, it will require her to be gone for a bit; and that leaves everything up to her husband to follow up with at home.
We are asking for any help anyone can possibly provide to help with bills, medical expenses, and gas for traveling to find a cure for cancer for Kandy.
