Hi everyone, my name is Anastasia. I am one of 4 of Kandi’s children. On Friday September 22nd my mom tragically lost her life due to the negligence and ignorance of someone else who put themselves behind the wheel of a car under the influence. Kandi is survived by her husband Kevin, 4 children (Taylor, Dustin, Anastasia, and Dakota), step daughter Tiffany Cruz, 5 grandchildren (Charles, Joshua, Matthew, Emma, and Bentley). Kandi was a very loving soul and would take in any stray animal and treat anyone who came into her home as family. She had an incredible sense of humor and ensured that every one in her life felt loved and cared for. Many people have asked us about a gofund me to help support her celebration of life and any financial support the family may need in the time of grief. We were very hesitant to set this up and in no way expected anyone to donate but if you could simply share this we would be extremely grateful. Any money that is not used for her celebration of life will be going into a trust fund for her 5 grandchildren as that is what she would have wanted.
