Kaleb's new Smile

We have an opportunity that we thought would never happen....Kaleb will be able to SMILE.  There is a doctor in California that specializes in Pediatric Facial Parlysis Plastic Surgery that has agreed to perform surgery on Kaleb that will improve his speaking and eating AND allow him to smile. Anyone that has ever been around Kaleb knows that he is a loving and caring child that has always smiled with his heart.  Now, he will be able to smile with his Face!!  He has Moebius Syndrome which causes facial paralysis because it affects the 6th and 7th cranial nerve which allows for lateral eye movement and smiling/chewing.  His syndrome also affects his feet and left hand.  Many people know that he has had numerous surgeries to correct club foot in both feet.  This surgery will greatly improve his quality of life.  We will have to stay in California for 2 weeks after the surgery for follow up care as this is the only Doctor in the United States that performs this surgery.  The estimated costs of the trip is $10,000 (includes surgery costs, flights and room and board for 2 weeks)  The surgery is scheduled in August.  We are calling upon our Village to help us make one of Kaleb's dream come true.  Please share with all of your family and friends.
