Please join us in helping my sister-in-law Amber Field-Garza with funeral expenses and Hospital bills .

Unfortunately on March 25 2018 at approximately 8:30pm, her children were in a fatal car accident.
Kaleb Garza 19, Madysyn Garza 14 who lost their lives and Ethan Garza 17 who is currently fighting for his life at KMC.  The three children were visiting their father.
Their father Adam Garza (40)and half-sister Jordan Garza (11) were also in the vehicle whom as well lost their lives.

As a mother I can't even imagine the pain that she is currently going through. Please know that any donation, small or big, will help towards Kaleb & Mady's funeral expenses and Ethan's hospital bills. Donations will be delivered to Amber. Please keep Ethan in your prayers.

These were innocent lives that parted too early leaving their families in grief. Life was just beginning for them.

CHP: 5 people killed, 1 severely injured in State Route 43 collision

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - CHP says five people were killed and one was severely injured following a head-on collision along State Route 43 in Wasco Sunday night.

The crash was first reported on the CHP Traffic Incident Page just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday on State Route 43 near Wasco Avenue involving a pickup truck and a sedan.

CHP says the pickup truck traveling southbound on State Route 43 veered into the northbound lane and collided with the sedan carrying five people heading home from a quinceañera practice.

CHP Public Information Officer Robert Rodriguez said three adults and two juveniles were killed. One of the survivors of the crash -- described as a teenage boy -- was airlifted to Kern Medical with major injuries, Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez said the driver of the truck, a woman, was killed in the crash, but is suspected to be driving while under the influence of alcohol.

The family traveling in the sedan is believed to be from the Bakersfield area, according to Rodriguez.

The roadway between Dresser Avenue and Kimberlina Road was closed following the crash but has since reopened.

CHP has closed all traffic on State Route 43 between Dresser Avenue and Wasco Avenue and will remain closed for hours, likely affecting Monday morning traffic.
