Guys, I get to go back! This time for 10 weeks! Many of you know that trips to Guatemala in the past have been some of the greatest experiences of my life, and I am so grateful to be able to return again!
I've accepted a 10 week internship with Kids Alive International and will be returning to the Oasis for the 4th time, this time to teach English. I need to raise $4,000 to cover all of my expenses for the duration of the trip by September 15.
The work that Kids Alive is doing in Guatemala transforms the lives of young girls that have been through terrible sexual and emotional abuse. Through Kids Alive these girls have a safe place to call home, they attend school, and have access to trauma focused therapy, as well as legal support as they go through custody hearings and testify against their aggressors. Most importantly, these girls are prayed for and surrounded by the healing love of Jesus.
