Kainen's wheelchair w/power assist

My name is Kainen, I'm 12yrs old.  I have Cerebral Palsy, it affects my legs and arms.  I am not able to walk, I use a powerwheelchair most of the time.  I can't take my powerwheel chair everywhere so I have to use a manual wheelchair sometimes.  My parents bought me a manual wheelchair last year, but I'm growing so fast that it no longer fits me.  I just went to an Abilities Expo in Chicago and found a wheelchair that fits me perfectly and will allow me to grow into it.  I also found a power assist that would let me move the chair and have a lot more independence.  Unfortunately, our insurance will not help cover the cost of these as they will only cover my full powerwheel chair.  If my powerwheel chair ever broke down or if the batteries stop working, I don't have any way to get around.  This new wheelchair and power assist would be awesome and helpful for me.
