Kaimimoku Family Moving to Memphis!

Friends and Family, we want to share with you the exciting news that we are moving to Memphis, Tennessee. That's right...the Kaimimokus are moving to Memphis!!! We were not expecting God to lead us to Tennessee. Pastors David and Tiffany Dirmann, Campus Pastors at The Rock in Anaheim, asked our family to pray about partnering in planting a church, to be named Memphis Tabernacle, in the heart of the city. To our amazement as we prayed about it we felt an overwhelming peace in our spirit that we needed to answer this call even though we are facing some obstacles and uncertainties. It was clear to our family, including the kids, that this was a good work that God had prepared for us to bring love, hope, joy, and the Gospel to a city and a people facing hardship. This process has not been easy as we are leaving family, friends, a great school community and an amazing church that has impacted our lives. We are encouraged to see all that our Heavenly Father will do in and through our family because of God's great love.
We are asking as an extension of our family to partner with us in prayer but also financially. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in moving expenses, traveling, lodging, and funding for the first month as we get settled. This move was not planned, in fact we had other plans... but God's purpose prevailed in our hearts and we are so happy for that! We will be looking for new employment, home and schools. This new church plant will not be funding us as this will be a total step of faith for us as a family. We believe that your partnership with us is an opportunity for you to bless the people of Memphis through sending our family to do a good work in this community.
