Kaia's Journey

Hi, my name is Karie and I am raising funds to get our pup, Kaia, the medical care she needs. As many of you know, Kaia got loose October 6th and was missing for 77 days. My 8 year old son wrote his Christmas list, and the only thing on it was to bring his dog home. With the help of an animal rescue group, she was brought home to us December 22nd! Immediately we knew we had a long road ahead of us. After taking her to the regular vet, we found out she has a broken paw that needs to be looked at by an Orthopedic Vet in Flint, MI. We have possible plans of actions from our vet, but won't know what needs to be done until we see the Ortho on January 3rd. The visit for the consult alone starts at $1,000, and then we will likely have a follow up visit to complete the plan we set in place to get her healthy again. We appreciate everyone's help with getting our girl home and on the road to being healthy again!
