Honoring Joe W. Parker

On 2/22/2020 the world lost a very special man, Joseph W. Parker. He was friends with many, known for both his smile as much as his lack of punctuality. He was also the father of two children, Annelei Parker and Benton Parker. This loss is tragic and unexpected. With Joe being, well...Joe, he had no long term plans in place for the future; he lived each day as it came.



Unfortunately, this leaves his children footing the bill during this already emotional and stressful time.

We are seeking only to cover the costs of providing our father with a proper cremation as per his wishes. If there are any additional funds raised beyond the cost of cremation ($4000) they will go toward other funerary expenses related to the estate. 



I love my father, and I know he never wanted to be a burden on anyone. He'd be so terribly embarrassed if he knew I was making this post right now. But, if you should feel generous as to be able to assist my brother and I in any way so that we may take care of my father's final arrangements, then perhaps my father can see it instead as a celebration of his life. 



Even if you're unable to donate, simply sharing this message could make all of the difference. I will continue to post updates here periodically. 



As of right now there will be no official memorial service. However my brother and I are working on plans to have a gathering of friends and family at a local restaurant to celebrate my father's life with laughter and drinks like he would have wanted.
