About a month ago the son of my good friend Monika Gryzebeck was diagnosed with a brain tumour. His name is Kacper, a first year student in CIT. Kacper is like every other teenager and on finishing school was looking forward to college life. However, his life has now changed drastically.
Kacper underwent surgery last week and is facing into a very difficult period during which he will be undergoing radiation treatment and all that entails over the next couple of months. Kacper is going to need the support and care from his family as well as the medical staff.
Kacper’s mum is now facing into the worst nightmare possible, yet still she needs to be strong for everyone especially Kacper because this is what us PARENTS do...
Monika still needs to work, care for her other 2 young children, and keep the good spirit by showing a brave front. Above all else, this is happening in the shadow of the Covid pandemic.
There is no doubt that Kacper will need the love and support of his family during this very challenging time. In an effort to try and provide support to Kacper, Monika and the family we are setting up a fund so that Monika can take some time off work to care for her son through this very difficult time as well as her other children and also to help towards the inevitable medical costs that are not covered by the Heath service.
Your contributions to this fund will go directly to Monika and any contribution at all would be greatly appreciated by this family.
