Hello, sunshines!
My name is Rachel Godfrey, and I am currently residing in Trenton, NJ. I just graduated from Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT. In Fall 2015, I will hopefully be a freshman at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. The journey thus far has been bumpy, but with good and positive people in my life, I have finally made it to the point I am today.
However, the money to pay for books and other necessities for college is difficult for my family to put together right now. My mother lost her job during my freshman year of high school. I have been looking for a job to help with the cost, but as the summer comes to an end, I fear that even this will not be enough to help me raise the money I need to succeed at my dream school.
If you are able to help, it would warm my heart and soul. My gratitude and love extend your way, whether you are able to or not. I ask for small contributions because I am very aware that everyone has their own expenses to pay, and many people are getting ready to send their own children off to college as well. If you can help, however, I thank you.
