Give Guy Five

Please support my campaign and help save my dad.

Today my dad Guy Coxeter (46) took the last dose of the last cancer drug the NHS have to offer him. And it hasn’t killed his cancer.

Hi, I’m Natalie and I’m 13 years old.  My dad has had lymphoma (PMBCL) since March 2017. He has had chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy. He’s even had a new treatment called CarT and been a guinea pig for a drug trial to help further research into cancer treatment but his cancer was still there, and now it has spread. Now the cancer is waiting for the last dose of chemo in his body to wear off so it can carry on its destructive path and take him from me, my brother George 14, and my mum. (They have been together for 25 years and she says he is her everything).  He is very funny and a great dad and we love him.

We can try one more thing but have to hurry.
There is one drug left he could try that is used in America for his cancer but not in the UK, so we would have to buy it ourselves. You have it every three weeks, and it can kill the cancer or it will stop it growing, and you can have it to keep you alive for up to 2 years. But it costs £7000 for every dose and it has to be paid before they give it to him and needs to start in June because his cancer is called aggressive and when it grows it grows very fast.

It would cost over £200000 to give him the drug for two years but that is a lot of money. If I had £56000 I could get him enough doses to last until Christmas. And by Christmas he would be able to see his family again, as he can’t go out of the house because of COVID. We all have to stay home.

If everyone gave me £5 and got 5 friends to do it too, and told them to tell 5 more friends I think we could raise the money and get my dad five more months and maybe even kill his cancer. And if you have more than £5 that would be even better.
I just want to keep my dad alive longer and go out with him when we can leave the house again. Please can you help and Give Guy Five and tell other people so we can get £56000 before it’s too late.
