GIVING TUESDAY 2022

As the end of the 2022 year approaches and we reflect. Street Sounds Productions has so much to be thankful for and a renewed energy and motivation for bigger and better future things.

Street Sounds believe storytelling can be a dramatic event for performers and participants with the potential to generate meaningful self-expression, emotional and intellectual development, and interpersonal connections. It also allows participants to explore a variety of creative arts.

This past Summer, we launched the first of what we hope to be many Arts and Music Summer camps. We worked with 20 very talented and energetic multi-aged youth for four weeks to design, compose and choreograph two African choral selections, a hip-hop dance routine, and a 3 Stage original opera written by the campers.

The M.O.M. project by Randy McPhly was an album created to inspire and hone in on the idea that our circumstances do not bind us but instead have the power and tools necessary to make the reality we want for ourselves. We partnered with one of the Bay Area’s profound artists to produce a live concert, celebrating the 5th anniversary of its release and impact with our in-house band, design team, bartender, and caterers.

We are also honored to partner with the Ruth Memorial Theater @ Bayview Opera House in the re-launch of the Bayview Hunter’s Point Restoration Choir. The Bayview Hunter’s Point Restoration Choir is a diverse community of vocalists who sing gospel music under the leadership of Christopher Street (Choral Director), a Music/Band Director. Membership in the choir is open to anyone aged 8-up willing to sing. The choir performs gospel music in various settings within the Bay Area and abroad.

Through the varied Street Sounds Productions program offerings, willing participants use their interpretative skillset, imagination, voices, and talent to bring their ideas to life.

As we grow and transition into 2023, we are excited to expand our effort with our Street Sounds Maui launch in January 2023. Extending our youth programming and live concert productions. As well as our Street Sounds New York launch, expanding our corporate events and fundraisers design efforts.
