Abby Taylor Accident Recovery
Donation protected
The daughter of a dear friend, Abby Taylor, age 21, was a pedestrian on a major street in Lexington, Kentucky and was hit by an F150 pickup. She was taken to the emergency room and was found to have six broken ribs, a collapsed right lung, a broken sternum, a broken pelvis, a small laceration in her liver, and two broken vertebrae. She is able to move, and is expected to recover. She should be in the hospital for at least another week, but it will be a long time before she is healed enough to be able to return to work and school.
On top of everything, an onlooker stole Abby’s wallet and iPhone somewhere between the accident and her arrival at the hospital.
Abby's mother, Kitty, lives in Oklahoma and had to return six days after the accident. Abby is concerned about not being able to work and how she will be able to pay her bills. She shares an apartment in Lexington with three roommates. She is also a junior in college, working on her BFA and has been on the dean's list almost every semester.
Please keep Abby in your prayers and consider contributing to a fund to help her during this terrible time.
Thank you
