Help Support the Wahlman Argue Family

For those of you who have not heard the devastating news, Thomas, was flown from the Cowichan District Hospital over to Vancouver General Hospital on Sunday and has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (A.L.L). This type of Leukemia progresses rapidly and symptoms can develop very quickly, as is the very unfortunate case with Thomas. Kelly, Thomas’ loving partner, and their wonderful son Doug (12), are confused, lost, stressed, scared, feeling beside themselves, and are experiencing every other feeling you can imagine after learning this news. Many of you know Kelly as the Chemainus Horse Carriage Driver, know her from the Chemainus Visitor Center, or know her because she is a fantastic dog groomer. Many of you will also know that she is one of the most incredible humans on this planet. Anyone who has met her will understand it when I say you can literally feel the kindness and warmth of her soul even from the most brief conversation. Kelly is always strong and remains one of the most positive, hardworking people we know, and she is not the kind of person to ever ask for help, but right now her family truly needs it. As Thomas is the main source of income, it is impossible for Kelly to take care of all of the financial burden from rent, bills, food, and for her and Doug to just live, all on her own. Not to mention having to take time off from work to be able to travel over to Vancouver to show her love and support to Thomas.

So I ask you kindly to help, by whichever means you can. Any amount, no matter the size, will make all of the difference in this heartbreaking and challenging time while the family deals with this disease.
