This Fund is for Our Friend/Family the kind hearted soul, Kari Brandt! Also known as Ski Patrol Manager at Snow Valley Mountain Resort. An unfortunate house fire on Janurary, 11th, 2015, left Kari with little to nothing. Fortunately Kari was not home during this unfortunate event, However everything she owned was lost. Kari is an awesome human being who loves the outdoors and helping people! Let's all get together and help Kari get Back on her feet! Anything Helps, this world is a better place with Kari in it! With the support from everyone, I know we can help Kari rebuild the life she started!
To help you understand her story better these are a few words from her father.
"Kari is quite the business person and unfortunately lost all of her tools of trade. As a hiking & climbing guide in the summer she needs her backpack, cooking supplies, ropes, climbing gear, cloths, tents, sleeping bags, boots, etc. Thousands of dollars worth of gear and it is all gone. Therefore she does not know if she can go back to work at Yosemite in May. She also had a small business in which she made beanies, scarfs, etc. and all of those items are gone. She did really well with that. She also lost all of her text books for her masters degree that she is writing her thesis on as she finished her class work. Luckily she had her computer with her so her work is saved but she does have to buy the text books again so she can finish her thesis and file for an extension because she wont be able to get it completed on time. The extension will cost her another year of tuition. "
