My Cancer Journey

Hi Everyone

I am Mark and have been a counsellor, therapist, supervisor and spiritual mentor for many years. I have worked hard since I was 13 years old to earn my own money and be self-sufficient.

Then, like a bolt out of the blue, on 13th March 2024, I was told I have stage 4 cancer of the pancreas and liver and that they expect me to last only months, not years. The news has been devastating!

Not only is there the emotional shock and trauma to process, there is the impact on finances. Unable to work in the way I always have and awaiting a tiny weekly income from benefits, I am left in a position where I cannot earn a living and support myself in the way I always have.

I am doing what I can to use my experience of cancer to help others and am sharing my journey in regular Facebook posts. If you find the posts useful or inspiring in anyway, I wonder if you would mind contributing a small amount to help me financially at this most difficult time.
