Since 2016, The Hortencia Zavala Foundation (HZF) has been fundraising to help students with the high cost of education.

This year, HZF, a not-for-profit organization in honor of my abuelita, introduced a free 12-week journalism camp providing mentoring and real work experiences to six fellows.
