Cancer Strikes Again

I come to you all to ask for help for my dear friend June Ayala who has been recently diagnosed with Bladder Cancer over the Holiday's. This will be Junes 2nd bout with Cancer in her life along with a hear attack she suffered in August of 2014. In fact the Heart issue was a cause of the bladder cancer as her body was fighting it. Her heart then took precedence in the doctors sights when she had originally went to the emergency room due to the pain of the UTI. Well they assumed she just had a UTI which we now know was in fact bladder cancer. The timing was not the best but when is it a good time to be diagnosed with cancer? Finding out you get surgery for Christmas was not easy though hardest part is to realize you don't have the money for your deductible, copays and surgery costs. She now has to go back in for a secondary exploration surgery to verify the extent of the cancer in the muscle walls of the bladder. We have been told regardless she will need bladder reconstructive surgery where they will make her a new bladder out of her intestines. We are lucky that at this time there is no cancer in her lymphoid but the longer the delay in final surgery to remove the bladder the possibility still remains that it can spread. The doctor that has been so wonderful unfortunately does not feel she has experience to perform this surgery and now has referred June to her mentor. So now we are starting all over and in a new year which means deductibles must be met again. June works as all of us on a pay check to pay check basis and the fact she has had to take time off means she can't even pay her bills. I ask you on bended knee please see it in your hearts to help my friend as she always has looked out for others and put their needs in front of hers. It is time we put June 1st to make sure she is taken care of.
