Anything helps (Cremation cost)

As many of you know, my father, "Big Mitch," passed away. Below is a link to his obituary. We had a joint account so when he passed, I had immediate access to his funds to pay for things like this. He had an alcohol induced dementia, and someone talked him into closing that account out and opening a new one without my name. Someone also contacted him pretending to be my attorney. Also, someone may or may not have tricked him into buying a vehicle for them. So instead of me being able to pay for everything with his money like he wanted me to, and with zero help from his family, all of the financial burden has fallen upon me. I still have to pay the attorney to process the will, and I am looking at at least $10k out of my own pocket (total for everything) because of so called family refusing to donate. I just put a number up of how much the funeral home charged for cremation. I don't want to sound pathetic by starting one of these, but this is a very difficult situation. If any family members want to donate, here is your chance. Also, he will be buried at the State Veterans Cemetery in Jennings. If anyone is interested in visiting his grave, let me know and I will contact you when the state has his plot ready.
