Jami Law Medical Fund

Jami Law is an 39 year old mother of 3. She is battling stage 4 BRCA1 breast cancer that has spread to her lungs as well as her brain and liver. The BRCA1 gene mutation was passed down from her mother, who passed away at the young age of 31. Jami also has a sister who was diagnosed with cancer, and is currently Cancer free. Jami discovered a breast mass in November of 2011, and began her journey there. Since that time, she has endured 3 chemotherapy cycles, 2 radiation cycles, 3 major surgeries, and is currently in treatment again. Her last surgery was to remove an apricot sized tumor from her brain, and is undergoing full brain radiation for several more spots in the brain. She is currently blind in her right eye from the tumors. Her liver has recently become a trouble spot due to the tumors metastasizing to the liver and its lining, causing swelling and severe pain. Another round of chemotherapy begins Friday, Jan 16th and will be ongoing.
Jami has been an inspiration to many, as she continues to fight for her life. She has a strong faith in God who, as she says, "takes great care of me". No one knows tomorrow, but she prays that her life leaves a legacy of Gods love, that teaches how important people are. She is currently living in Ft Worth Tx, with her husband Kris of 21 years, and her three beautiful children, Kameron, Tori, and Abby.
