Rashaud's Memorial Scholarship Fund

Hey Everyone, My name is Kyron Washington. I am 21 years old currently serving my country in the U.S Army, I'm also a Native of Vacherie, La and Graduate of St. James High School.
Travis Julien, 22 years old, Native of Vacherie, La and Graduate of St. James High School where I am now Currently Attending Nicholls State University where I play College Basketball #13 and Majoring in Sociology, We have started this Scholarship Fund in memory of our Cousin/Brother/Best Friend Rashaud Gasery who was also a Native of Vacherie, La and Graduate of St.James High School Class of 2011. Rashaud passed away December 30, 2014. He was a Senior at Nicholls State University where he was majoring in Biology-Pre Physical Therapy. Rashaud was apart of Senior Beta, Track and Field and JROTC in High School, He was very intelligent and Education was Big with him. It wasnt easy being a Full-Time College Student having to pay for Books, Food, Etc. so now we wanna give back what we know Rashaud would want to the Community of St.James, La. We wanna give this Scholarship Fund to a Lucky Senior of our Graduating High School so when it is His/Her turn to become a College Student, She/He wont have such a Big Stressful Plate in front of them wondering how will they make it through there Freshmen Year.
We are asking Everyone please Donate to help out Funding and Making this Scholarship Successful for a Successful Young Teen that need it the Most.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE SENIOR:
Must Have a GPA Score of 2.5 or Higher "Make sure you have it Shown"
Must Attach a Copy of your Acceptance Letter to a University. Its all about how bad do you want Success.
Must Sumbit a Essay telling us about yourself and why you are applying for this Scholarship. Please be clear about how this Scholarship will help you achieve your Personal and Professional Goals. Just Relax and be yourself. Explain in Details. Minimum of 1 Page and Must be Handwritten *PRINT*
All Essays along with a Copy of your acceptance letter, & GPA can either be Submitted to JROTC Instructor LTC Colar, Mailed to my Address at SPC Washington, Kyron @2050 Glory Loop, Box #290 Ft.Polk, La 71459 or Given to Travis in person
The Winner of this Scholarship will be presented the Money we raise on Class Night by Rashaud's Parents Mr. Percy & Mrs. Vanessa Gasery along with Kyron Washington and Travis Julien. So make sure you submit it to us before Class Night !!!!!!!
