Drugs for the Terminally Ill

Donation protected
There are those who survive Cancer and those who don't. In between are the 'forgotten ones'. They are the dying. Many of them are diagnosed later rather than sooner. They have wives, husbands, children, nephews, nieces and would like the chnace to spend a little more time with their loved ones.
There is a drug called Avastin that can do this if only for a few months. The Insurers and Government rightly or wrongly will not fund this drug on the grounds it is not a cure. It is very expensive. Some people can get assiatnce from the Trillium Foundation but many will not. This fund raiser if the kick off for a not for profit that will help the 'have nots', eventually I hope it will morph into a Charity but that takes time.
Until then it will be run on a proper and legal basis with the funds apportioned as best we can. No single person will get all they need but every little bit helps.
In return for your donation you will get a gift of our pin with our motto on it, "Got Cancer, Keep Calm and Drink More Red Wine" on it.  You can also get meet the Face of our Campaign, Kathryn and as time goes on there will be more.
                          So please make a donation.
In particular I ask those of you lucky ones who 'dodged the bullet' and who are Cancer survivors or if you know someone who made it consider how lucky you are and help give someone a little more time with those who love them.
Thank you from Kathryn and those who you will be helping in the future.
Find out more about Kathryn's Story on Face Book, it is a love story about Cancer, a patient and her husband. You will like it.
