Mark and Kari Miner

Those of you who know and love my sister Kari and brother-in-law Mark also know that this past year has been absolutely horrible for them.  In November of 2018 they lost their home, their beloved dogs, and absolutely all of their possessions in a house fire.  Beginning in January 2019, Mark was admitted to the hospital on three separate occasions and ultimately had to have surgery to replace a valve in his heart.  He will be on blood therapy for the rest of his life.   Many of you know that Mark served in the military for over 10 years and was deployed 4 times.  Now, he works at the Naval War College training military personnel prior to serving in critical overseas tours. 
The recovery process has been long and painful for both of them (emotionally, physically, and spiritually).  They are taking one day at a time and trying to heal.  Every day brings a new set of financial challenges...they are trying to rebuild and furnish their home and now the credit cards and medical bills have started accruing at a very rapid rate.  Those of you who have reached out to them already either financially or for other support, they have asked that I thank you from the bottom of their hearts.  Although they're stubborn and have constantly maintained that they will make it through, everyone has a breaking point.  I am hopeful that you will all join me in helping them through this difficult time.  Thank you in advance xoxo
