We want to offer the world an at-home do-it-yourself, psychiatric drug slow-taper program.
We help participants restore their minds, renew their health, and regain their will. Our program is paired with 24-hour support agents, wellness classes, and everything is led by "native guides" ( people who did it themselves ).
Neurologically speaking, slow-tapers may take 1-3 years per medication, which our program supports. People will be prepared first, guided the entire way, and then encouraged to remain steadfast in their choices throughout, and for life afterward. This saves lives in many ways.
Many people are stuck in a lifetime of psychiatric drugs, because doctors are afraid to take them off. Tens of millions are affected by this epidemic. Because of this, those who survived are hard to find. And once you do find them, they will often not want to relive that period for any reason. Astoundingly, statistics claim that ~88% of people who successfully taper will relapse within 15 months.
People on benzodiazepines in particular are x3 more likely to die, just by taking them, long-term. Women are twice as likely to be prescribed benzodiazepines compared to men. Use increases by age demographic. It dramatically increased during COVID. And yet the drug affects over 90% of brain activity! It is like driving with your emergency brake on in life, and not fully living. People need a way out.
This fundraising campaign will provide us enough to operate for 3-6 months with our exceptional skeleton staff. In this time we can prepare for our first 10+ participants, while we raise additional capital to support the first 100+ tapers.
We provide experts in a world with very few who lived to tell the tale yet. Our after-care programs for post-taper Champions will offer communities for those who seek to re-learn healthy integration into "normal" life.
We want to do our part to end the psychiatric drug epidemic, for those who want to be free. With our support, millions of people can make it through their taper, then beyond the all-important first 15 months after, and eventually get beyond recovery itself.
