Help Needed

I rarely ask for help— I rather be helping— so something like this is really rough on me, especially during these holidays.

Just days before Thanksgiving, my spouse and I were displaced unfairly from our jobs at the same company. We’ve been searching and networking aggressively, interviewing and trying to get something locked down— but because of the holiday season, a lot of stable places don’t seem to be hiring till January.

We’re very rarely out of work, but with realizing my truth as a transgender female early this year— it’s been especially rough.

We’ve reached out in as many directions as possible for help, but have been told on more than one occasion that there are people worseoff, so good luck.

UPDATE: We’ve got a place to be our base of operations, but our biggest issue now whole we lock down our jobs and start makingmoney is the car.

We’ve been trying to get the car payment and insurance around, but side gigs aren’t paying what we need to cover everything.

Lyft and Uber are a bust.

We’re trying to keep spirits up— but we couldreally use the help.
