Surgery for Inigo- rescued Dog

This is beautiful Inigo. He came into Haven of Hope Rescue two years ago completely emaciated, with a heavy case of heart worms, horrible mange, and ears that were so infected he couldn't even hold his head up. Since that time, Haven of Hope has addressed all of his health issues and have tried many different treatments and techniques to heal his ears through several different vet offices and consultations. They have had some short lived success with very strong antibiotics and twice weekly ear flushes. It has now clearly reached the point none of these treatments will provide Inigo the total relief and enjoyment of life that his rescuers want him to experience.

Inigo, a Malamute mix, is thought to be about eight years old, and has made great strides toward health and happiness. It has been determined by a specialist that this beautiful boy needs surgery on both of his ears to get rid of the deep and persistent ear infections that continue to plague him. The cost of the surgery is $2400, and Inigo will need to be under close vet supervision for two weeks following his surgery.  Dr. Ledger and Pampered Pets in Edmond, Oklahoma have graciously agreed to let Inigo recuperate free of charge at their wonderful facility.  We are deeply grateful for this help. 

Any help toward Inigo's surgery would be so appreciated.  Haven of Hope Rescue is a privately owned and operated rescue organization with an on-site facility. This kind of expense will severely limit their ability to accept new intakes and will set them back significantly. 

Haven of Hope is moving forward with this surgery so Inigo can at long last be well again and so he can find his Forever Family!!!  Inigo will be available for adoption post-surgery and recovery.
