Kristy Weaver's Liver Transplant

My best friends' daughter, Kristy Weaver, of Searsport, ME was diagnosed, in October 2014, with Cryptogenic Cirrhosis.  This disease is a common cause of liver related death in the United States.  Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is now recognized as the most common cause of Cryptogenic Cirrhosis. Kristy is a 34 year old, single, devoted mother of 4 children from ages 5-14.   
  In October, the doctors told Kristy she would be lucky to live six months. Her only hope is to have a liver transplant. They also informed her that her chances of receiving one at this point is about 15 %.  Currently there are about 18,000 people waiting for donors. Out of that number only about 6,000 will actually receive one.  A living donor will be her best chance for survival now.  Her mother, Brenda Ritchie, and I have both been tested to be a living donor for her.  Unfortunately, neither of us are an option due to medical reasons.  We are looking for anyone who would be willing to give her the "Gift of Life". Could you find it in your heart to be tested.  This surgery is done laparoscopically and surprisingly your liver will regenerate to normal size within several weeks.
    Due to the severity of her illness, Kristy has been unable to work for quite sometime. Therefore, we are asking for any monetary donations to help cover medical expenses, travel expenses and more importantly money to help her care and provide for her young children.
