Cris Jensen Fund

Cris Jensen, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a dear friend to all those who know and love her! A couple of weeks ago, while visiting her son Matt and family in Colorado Springs for Christmas, a wood pallet fell on Cris’s leg, cutting it and requiring her to go to the hospital to get stitches. After a few days, she was not feeling well and returned to the hospital to discover a raging infection taking over her body. Tragically, the infection required the doctors to amputate her leg at the hip in order to try to contain it. The infection continued moving to her upper body causing her kidneys and liver to fail. Currently, the doctors say the infection is not progressing but she has been put on dialysis because her kidneys are not functioning. Cris has been asleep through these horrible events and is not currently breathing on her own. The doctors hope to wake her soon and get her breathing on her own. Her dear husband Steve, her children and family are by her side praying that she can make it though this tragedy and move on to the long road of recovery. With that said, This page had been started in order to help provide financial help with medical and living expense as Steve and Cris are far from home and will be there for an indefinite amount of time.
