Justyce Chaney’s Cancer Journey & IVF Treatment
Hi friends and family,
Justyce was recently diagnosed with borderline Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. A blood cancer that limits her ability to fight infection. She needs your help and support as she fights this disease.
On March 14th, Justyce and her sister Aiya were involved in a T-bone car accident. After a few months of chiropractic care and physical therapy, Justyce was still experiencing severe pain in her neck & back. She requested MRI imaging before getting some nerve work done on her back.
The MRI results came back showing masses (tumors) on her esophagus, by her heart, lungs, and in her stomach. Though her car accident was horrific, we take it as a blessing in disguise.
On June 8th, via a doctors zoom call, she received the news that no 24 year old should ever hear. On June 25th, after multiple tests and a biopsy she was officially diagnosed.
Since then, Justyce has had multiple MRIs, CT scans, biopsy surgery, biopsy draining issues, chemo port installation surgery, 10 days of IVF shots and an egg retrieval surgery. She will start chemo on July 21st at OHSU. We know her doctor is amazing and she will be in good hands.
If you know Justyce, you know she’s a fighter. She will get through this, but not without her tribe. We are calling on all prayer warriors and positive energy senders. As a team, we will help her fight, so she doesn’t have to fight alone.
