On Thursday, May 3rd, Justine was in a horrible car accident that resulted in two crushed ankles, a broken leg, lacerated organs, one collapsed lung and five broken ribs. She had her young son in the backseat who thankfully came out of this incident unscathed. However, Justine has a long road ahead of her in terms of recovery and gaining her independence back. She has two small children and will be out of work for at least six weeks while she works to regain her strength.
This is not something she is requesting; in fact in the 25 years I have called Justine my friend she has never come to me asking anything of this nature. I am posting this because no one deserves to go through a crisis like this alone. She has received such amazing support from family and friends and this is one additional way to lighten the load so she and her family can focus solely on getting her back on her feet.
Through this whole process Justine has remained positive, determined and strong. She is motivated by getting good sleep and nutrition so she can fully focus not only on her own health but the health and well-being of her children. We hope to have her home soon and fully concentrated on those goals! Any contribution will help in that effort. Thank you all!
