Help The Lawrence Family (Justin and Tina Bree)

Just in the past few months, the lives of Justin, Tina, their girls (Maya and Hayley), and family have been turned upside down. It started with some bulging discs in Justin’s neck, leading to nerve pain. Today he experiences episodes from where he is unable to talk and communicate, and at times to not being able to walk. Compounded with blurry vision along with many other complications, and a significant weight loss.

For almost five months, He has been in and out of doctor's offices and hospitals trying to find an answer, a diagnosis. They've seen about 15 different doctors for every specialization that you can imagine.  He had IVIG blood transfusions which alone range in the $5K-$10K range. The amount of tests ordered are through the roof. For this upcoming week alone, Justin will have two MRI's (one alone is 2 hours long), a PET scan, and a two day sleep study. He sleeps. A LOT.  Also want to note, this is not Covid related. He has not now or ever tested positive for Covid19. The doctors did pursue that because some with Covid have had auto immune problems.

So far this journey has lead to a place where the Doctors are stumped, and family and friends are praying that someone will find an answer. Not only to know what this is, but to get Justin on the journey to healing and recovery. They will continue, until they find an answer. They are also trying to get into Mayo Clinic. Justin has not been working for close to one month, and that doesn't include other time missed. He's had stays at NW in McHenry, and Loyola Medical in Maywood. 

Right now there's no way to know when Justin will be back at work. The only options they've had is short term disablilty which is ok, but as most of us know, this will not be good enough, with home and medical bills piling up after almost half a year. As you can imagine, it is not an easy decision to ask for help, but with their OK, I'm asking you to please consider helping to offset some of the huge debt they are already in with more on the way. Justin and Tina have lived their whole lives giving back.

There isn’t anything that Justin wouldn’t’ do for family and friends, and Tina has been an amazing community partner for the past 15 plus years.
