Rally around the Vanderharr Family
Donation protected
Justin Vanderharr was critically injured in the pits at Eagle Raceway in Nebraska on May 11th. A hobby stock had a malfunction which caused his throttle to stick wide open. He exited the track off the ramp which sent him airborne and into a 4 wheeler which then slammed into Adam’s sprint and in turn throwing Justin and another crew member about 20 feet. When they landed Justin had hit his head severely and was under our sprint and a modified. He was rushed by ambulance to Bryan West in Lincoln where he remains still. He is in a medically induced coma in the ICU. He has skull fractures, brain bleed, swelling and severe bruising of his head/brain. He also suffered a severe fracture of his leg with an open wound that will require surgery when he is more stable. CT scans have been done showing same results as the day before. He remains in ICU sedated for the time and the waiting game to see how much his brain can heal and if the swelling will go down has begun. Today (5/13) he had a small miracle and a positive progression in opening his eyes a few times. We ask that you pray for Justin and for his family. He was there giving his time to a sport he loves so much and is now in the fight for his life. He has been a crew member of our team as long as I can remember and an even better friend to Adam before that. He is a newlywed to a beautiful bride and father of 2 beautiful children. He has many great things in life to look forward to with his family. We ask that you pray and pray hard, we also ask for donations to go to Staysha and the family for medical and loss of wages during this time.
