Monica Moynan matters #justiceformoni

These parents have lost a daughter. In turn, they are also now raising their two granddaughters (4 and 1) who have also lost their mother. Monica Day Moynan has been taken from her family. From her children, from her parents, from her sister and brother and countless other loved ones. Melanie and Brandon Tucker, Monica’s parents, are no longer just grandparents to Kayleigh and Nova. They are also parenting them now, parenting in crisis. They’ve gone from a household of 3 to a household of 5 living on one income, with one vehicle, and in a 2 bedroom home. Let’s help them, help give them the ability to give these children what they’ll need now and in the near future. This is now their new reality.

What began as a missing persons case is now a homicide case. Monica was a beautiful free spirited 22 year old mom building a bright future for herself and her babies. She’d created and began her own business making elderberry syrup and was heavily involved in learning, living and helping others live a natural, healthy lifestyle. Monica felt she’d found her calling. She had signed up and paid for the first series of training on what was to be her career as a Doula. She was taken before this could begin.

The responsibilities involved with raising two beautiful humans is gigantic. There are many facets. Having already raised two, and a 15 year old son still at home, adding two grandbabies to begin again with, is a huge undertaking. Let us help Melanie and Brandon where we can, with the sudden, lasting and very real financial aspect. No contribution is too small.
