Meet Liberty !
Liberty was picked up by animal control in Porter, Texas. She is now safe with a wonderful foster and being taken care of by Texas Animal Society Rescue.
Liberty was found emaciated. Her wounds where her paws have been removed are open and raw. The Dr cannot be sure what brought this girl to be in the condition she is in, but because of her age he would lean towards trauma and abuse at a very early age.
The care of liberty will be extensive. She will need either a speciality wheelchair as well as a prosthetic limb made especially for her needs.
Liberty is young, less than a year old. Thank goodness she's heartworm negative. With antibiotics, wound care and special booties she will be more comfortable until we begin her rehabilitation.
Liberty is quiet and sweet and has been neglected in the basics of care. With time we will do all we can to heal her mind and body.
The PIT BULL DEFENSE FUND is donating 50% of the profits from sales to our sweet Liberty's recovery.
